99math Accessibility Conformance Report
Prepared by 99math OÜ. Structure follows the ITI Voluntary Product Accessibility Template, International Edition, covering WCAG 2.2, Revised Section 508, and EN 301 549. Every conformance value below is backed by a recorded observation from the evaluation described in section 04; where a criterion was not tested, it says so.
00Summary
99math is a browser-delivered mathematics fluency product for K–8 classrooms. It has three parts, and this report uses these three names for them throughout:
| Term | What it is | Who uses it | Built as |
|---|---|---|---|
| Teacher App | The dashboard where teachers create classes, launch games, assign practice and read reports, plus the screen a teacher projects while hosting a game. | Teachers | Standard web pages (Vue.js) |
| Live Game | The classroom game: a student enters a game code, picks an avatar, waits in a lobby, then answers timed problems on a number keypad while the teacher projects the scoreboard. | Students in class, no account needed | Standard web pages (Vue.js) |
| Pet Squad | The individual-practice game: a signed-in student looks after a pet, walks through a shared world, and practises skills in solo rounds to earn rewards. | Signed-in students, at home and in class | A Unity game drawn on a single canvas, embedded in the page |
The distinction matters because the first two are ordinary web pages that assistive technology can read, and the third is a game engine drawing pixels, which assistive technology cannot read unless the game provides a separate accessible layer. Pet Squad does not yet.
The product partially supports WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The Teacher App and the Live Game are usable with remediable gaps. Pet Squad does not support assistive technology or keyboard operation: nothing inside it is exposed to a screen reader, and none of it can be reached or operated from the keyboard (F15). The most significant gaps elsewhere are: the Teacher App's main navigation cannot be reached with a keyboard; browser zoom is disabled on touch devices across the product; no page uses landmark regions or a skip link; several form fields and icon-only buttons lack an accessible name, including the answer field inside the Live Game; and answer feedback in the Live Game is not announced to screen readers. Several colour pairings in the Teacher App fall below the 4.5:1 minimum.
Strengths worth stating: the Live Game can be played entirely from the keyboard (number keys and Enter), correct-answer feedback is conveyed by an icon and a score change rather than colour alone, motion preferences are honoured through prefers-reduced-motion, the dashboard carousel has an on-screen auto-play control, every raster image sampled carries alternative text, and visible focus indicators are present on buttons and links.
What 99math commits to
Every finding in section 06 and every item still marked Not Evaluated, including a screen-reader pass with real assistive technology, has one target: the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027, the start of the 2027/28 school year. That is the only date in this report. Until Pet Squad is remediated, the Live Game (which is keyboard-operable) and teacher-assigned practice are the routes 99math offers students who cannot use Pet Squad. | Evaluation methods used | Self-evaluation. Automated testing with axe-core 4.10.2 in Chrome on macOS across 16 DOM screens; manual keyboard-only traversal of the Teacher App dashboard, a complete round of the Live Game, and Pet Squad; structural inspection of the page Pet Squad runs in; manual review of headings, landmarks, focus styling, motion and contrast. No screen-reader testing was performed in this version. Full detail in section 04. |
02Applicable standards and guidelines
This report covers the following accessibility standards. The International Edition was chosen because 99math is an EU company selling primarily into US public schools, so both regimes apply to the same product.
| Standard / Guideline | Included in report | Why it applies to 99math |
|---|---|---|
| Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 | Level A, Level AA, Level AAA | The operative standard. US districts subject to ADA Title II must meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA; reporting against 2.2 covers 2.1 and anticipates the next procurement cycle. |
| Revised Section 508 (36 CFR 1194 App. A, B, C) | Chapters 3, 4, 5, 6 | The US federal standard. Districts using federal funds, and state procurement systems modelled on 508, ask for this edition by name. |
| EN 301 549 | Chapters 4 through 13 | The European public-procurement standard, and the technical basis for the European Accessibility Act. Relevant to EU-based sales and to 99math's own establishment in Estonia. |
The deadline that is driving district requests
The US Department of Justice's ADA Title II rule requires public entities, school districts included, to bring web content and mobile apps to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. On 17 April 2026 the DOJ extended the compliance dates by one year: 26 April 2027 for entities serving populations of 50,000 or more, and 26 April 2028 for smaller entities and special districts. Districts remain responsible for content delivered through vendors, which is why the evidence request lands on 99math.
03Conformance terms
The terms below are the ITI-defined values. "Not Evaluated" is used in Tables 1 and 2 only where a criterion depends on assistive-technology testing or on a surface outside this version's scope; each such row says which, and section 06 gives the date by which it will be resolved.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| ✓Supports | The functionality of the product has at least one method that meets the criterion without known defects, or meets it with equivalent facilitation. |
| ~Partially Supports | Some functionality of the product does not meet the criterion. |
| ✕Does Not Support | The majority of product functionality does not meet the criterion. |
| ·Not Applicable | The criterion is not relevant to the product. |
| ○Not Evaluated | The product has not been evaluated against the criterion. |
04Evaluation methods
What was done
On 14 September 2026 the production product was evaluated in Google Chrome (desktop, macOS) as follows.
- Automated testing. axe-core 4.10.2 was injected into each screen and run with the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rule sets. Sixteen screens were covered. Teacher App: dashboard, group practice setup, individual practice assignments, classes, class progress report, group practice reports, parents, tutorials, host lobby, host round view, host round results. Live Game: join, avatar choice, lobby, play, round results.
- Structural review by script. Document language, heading outline, landmark regions, viewport meta tag, positive tabindex values, focus-related CSS rules, and the presence of prefers-reduced-motion and forced-colors media blocks, on every screen above.
- Manual keyboard traversal. Tab-order walk of the Teacher App dashboard with the focused element and its computed focus style recorded at each step; a Live Game round played from the keyboard alone, including one correct and one deliberately wrong answer; an invalid game code submitted on the join screen.
- Colour contrast. Computed by axe for every visible text node on each screen; the distinct failing foreground/background pairs are listed in section 06.
- Visual review of screenshots of every screen for colour-only meaning, flashing, and animation.
- Pet Squad. Signed in as a student, opened the game at /home-game, inspected the page it runs in (game.prod.99math.com/WebGL/index.html) for anything a screen reader could use, then tried to operate the title screen, pet home and world from the keyboard alone (Tab, Enter, arrow keys, WASD), and then with the mouse for comparison. Four screens were reached: loading, pet home, skill progression, and the shared world.
What was not done
- No assistive technology was used. No screen reader, magnifier, switch access or voice control. Criteria that can only be judged with a screen reader (1.3.2, 302.1) are marked Not Evaluated until the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027.
- No solo practice round was completed inside Pet Squad. The world is navigated by clicking where the avatar should walk, and a solo round was not reached in the session; the Pet Squad findings rest on its structure and on the keyboard test, which are decisive on their own.
- No mobile, tablet or ChromeOS testing, no testing at 200% zoom, and no reflow test at 320 CSS pixels.
- Sign-in, account and purchase flows, the parent interface, email templates and the help centre were not inspected.
How to read the tables
Automated testing detects roughly a third of WCAG failures and can never confirm conformance on its own. Where a criterion is marked Supports, it means no defect was found by the methods above on the surfaces evaluated; it is not a claim about screen-reader behaviour, and where Pet Squad fails a criterion the remark says so. Where a criterion is marked Partially Supports or Does Not Support, there is a recorded observation behind it, listed in section 06.
05Coverage
How many WCAG 2.2 criteria carry a recorded evaluation outcome (Supports, Partially Supports, Does Not Support or Not Applicable) as of this version.
Of the 12 Level A and AA rows still marked Not Evaluated, 5 depend on screen-reader or device testing, 4 on the tutorial video player, and 3 on the sign-in and purchase flows, all scheduled in section 06. Level AAA is not required by ADA Title II or Section 508 and is reported only where an answer was incidental to the evaluation.
06Findings and remediation plan
Each finding names the surface it was observed on, the evidence, and the fix. Every finding has the same target: 31 August 2027, the start of the 2027/28 school year, when version 1.1 of this report is reissued with the fixes confirmed. That is the only date in this plan. Ain Arend (Co-founder & CTO, legal@99math.com) is responsible for every finding in this plan and for this report. After version 1.1, the report may be updated again as the product changes.
The Teacher App's main navigation cannot be reached with a keyboard
The sidebar (Dashboard, Group practice, Individual practice, Classes, Reports, Parents) is a tree widget whose container carries tabindex="-1" and whose items are role="treeitem" without their own tab stops. Pressing Tab skips every navigation item and lands instead on the non-interactive section labels "Practice Mode" and "Overview", which are marked as buttons and show no focus indicator. A keyboard-only teacher can use the page they land on but cannot move to any other part of the product without a mouse. The class selector (a custom select) is also reached as an unnamed span with no visible focus.
sidebar: UL[role=tree][tabindex=-1] > LI[role=treeitem] (no tabindex)
Target: 31 August 2027. Make each navigation item a focusable link or button, or give the tree tabindex="0" with arrow-key navigation; remove role="button" from the group labels.
Zoom is disabled on every surface
All 16 screens ship user-scalable=no, maximum-scale=1.0 in the viewport meta tag. On a tablet or phone this blocks a low-vision user from magnifying the page.
Target: 31 August 2027. One-line change: remove user-scalable=no and maximum-scale.
No landmark regions and no skip link on any screen
None of the 16 screens contains a , or
Target: 31 August 2027. Wrap the sidebar in , page content in , and add a skip link as the first focusable element.
Form fields without an accessible name, including the answer field in the Live Game
The game-code field on the join screen has a placeholder and nothing else. The answer field inside the Live Game (#playerAnswerInput), the field every student types into during every game, has no label at all. The share-link field in the host lobby and the "Mix multiple skills" switch in group practice setup are also unlabelled. Three PrimeVue list boxes in group practice setup expose no field name.
axe rule aria-input-field-name (serious): /live-game-setup ×3, /individual-practice/assignments ×3
Target: 31 August 2027. Add a visually hidden or aria-label to each ("Game code", "Your answer", "Game link", "Mix multiple skills").
Icon-only buttons without an accessible name
Buttons that show only an icon expose no name to assistive technology on most screens: the dashboard carousel dots, fourteen buttons on the group practice reports page, three on the parents page, the sound toggle, copy-link and select buttons on the host screens, and the delete and submit keys on the Live Game keypad. A screen-reader user hears "button" with no purpose.
Target: 31 August 2027. Add aria-label to each icon-only button.
Answer feedback in the Live Game is not announced
The live play screen has one aria-live="polite" region, but it stayed empty after both a correct answer (score rose from 0 to 10, a burst icon appeared on the submit key) and a wrong answer (score reset to 0). A screen-reader user gets no confirmation that an answer was accepted or whether it was right. The same empty live region was observed after an invalid game code on the join screen, where no error text, aria-invalid or aria-describedby appeared either.
Target: 31 August 2027. Write "Correct, 10 points" / "Not quite, the answer was 9" / "Game code not found" into the live region.
Colour contrast below 4.5:1 on brand-coloured controls and status text
Most body text passes. The failures are concentrated in a small set of brand pairings reused across the Teacher App: white text on the green, blue and orange action buttons, orange badges, the class progress quadrant labels, and grey secondary text. The class progress report has the most instances (57 nodes) because its student table repeats the same pairings per row.
Nodes per screen: class-progress 57 · parents 17 · classes 15 · dashboard 12 · host lobby 6 · live-game-setup 5 · host play 3
Target: 31 August 2027. Darken the six brand tokens involved; the fix is in the design-token file, not per component.
Skill-list icons without alternative text; decorative graphics not hidden
The skill category lists in group practice setup and individual practice render fourteen icon images with no alt attribute each. On the dashboard, six of seven inline SVGs are neither labelled nor hidden, and the animated pet canvas has no role, label or fallback. Raster images elsewhere are fine: every on the join screen and dashboard carries alt.
Target: 31 August 2027. alt="" on the decorative skill icons (the adjacent text already names the skill); aria-hidden="true" on decorative SVGs and the pet canvas.
Focus indicator suppressed on text inputs and the navigation group labels
Buttons and links do show a visible focus outline (1–2 px solid), which is better than the previous draft assumed. Text inputs do not: the game-code field, the Live Game answer field and the host share-link field compute to outline-style: none with no substitute. Thirty stylesheet rules remove the outline on :focus; 42 rules target :focus-visible, so the mechanism exists and needs extending to inputs.
Target: 31 August 2027. Remove the outline:none rules on inputs or add a :focus-visible ring to them.
Heading outline is out of order or missing
The classes page nests its h1 under an h3. The class progress and group practice setup pages have no h1 and use h3/h4 for every section. The join screen and the student lobby have no headings at all.
Target: 31 August 2027.
Every screen has the same page title
All 16 screens are titled "99math - Free Multiplayer Math Game". A screen-reader user switching tabs or returning to the window cannot tell a report from a game lobby.
Target: 31 August 2027. Set document.title per route ("Class progress · 99math").
ARIA defects in third-party components
Seven progress bars on the group practice reports page have no accessible name; a toggle button in group practice setup nests an interactive control inside another; a toggle on the host round view has no name; and axe reports one invalid ARIA attribute value on most Teacher App screens. These originate in the PrimeVue component wrappers and are fixed centrally.
Target: 31 August 2027.
Carousel dot controls below the 24×24 pixel minimum
The two dot buttons under the dashboard "Weekly celebration" carousel are smaller than 24 CSS pixels and have no spacing exemption. No other target-size failures were found.
Target: 31 August 2027.
No Windows High Contrast Mode support
No stylesheet contains a forced-colors or prefers-contrast block, so custom-drawn controls may lose their borders under Windows High Contrast Mode, which districts deploy as an accommodation. Reduced motion is handled: seven prefers-reduced-motion blocks are present.
Target: 31 August 2027.
Pet Squad cannot be used with a keyboard or a screen reader
Pet Squad is a Unity game. Everything a student sees in it (the menu, Enter Code, Shop, Rewards, Missions, Skills, Enter World, the pet, the skill tree, the shared world and the other players) is drawn as pixels on one canvas. The page around that canvas contains nothing else: no buttons, no headings, no text, no announcements. To a screen reader the whole game is one unnamed picture. To a keyboard user it is unreachable: pressing Tab moves focus onto the game frame and no further, Enter does not press the START button that is visibly highlighted, further Tabs stay inside the frame with no visible focus, and the arrow keys and WASD do not move the avatar in the world, which moves only when the student clicks on the ground. The Live Game, which students play in class, does not have this problem because it is an ordinary web page.
keyboard: Tab → game frame (×3, focus never leaves) · Enter on START → nothing · ArrowUp ×15, W ×15 in world → avatar does not move · mouse click → works
Target: 31 August 2027. Interim, ahead of that date: publish the alternative route for students who cannot use Pet Squad (the Live Game in class and teacher-assigned practice), and give the game frame a title. Remediation: an accessible text layer alongside the canvas for the practice loop (the problem, the answer field, the feedback), keyboard focus inside the game, and arrow-key movement in the world. A screen-reader pass of whatever ships is part of the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027.
What version 1.1 adds (31 August 2027)
Every row marked Not Evaluated is closed in the version 1.1 reissue: caption status of the tutorial videos (1.2.1, 1.2.2, 1.2.3, 1.2.5, 503.4, EN 7); sign-in inspection for autocomplete and cognitive tests (1.3.5, 3.3.8); the purchase and class-deletion flows (3.3.4); 200% zoom and 320 px reflow (1.4.10, 1.4.12); tablet orientation (1.3.4); hover content on the class progress chart (1.4.13); a completed solo round inside Pet Squad; and a screen-reader pass with VoiceOver + Safari and ChromeVox on the Teacher App, a full Live Game, and Pet Squad (1.3.2, 302.1, plus confirmation of the fixes to 3.3.1 and 4.1.3).
07WCAG 2.2 report
Tables 1 to 3 record conformance against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2. "DOM screens" in the remarks means the 16 screens listed in section 04; "Pet Squad" means the individual-practice client, whose findings are consolidated under F15.
Table 1: Success Criteria, Level A
| Criterion | Name | Conformance level | Remarks and explanations |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.1.1 | Non-text Content | ~Partially Supports | Raster images on the join screen and dashboard all carry alt. Fourteen skill-list icons on two Teacher App screens have none; six of seven dashboard SVGs and the pet canvas are neither labelled nor hidden; icon-only buttons lack names (F5, F8). Pet Squad has no text alternative for any of its content (F15). |
| 1.2.1 | Audio-only and Video-only (Prerecorded) | ○Not Evaluated | Applies to the eight teacher tutorial videos, which open in a third-party player. Caption and alternative status is confirmed in the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027. |
| 1.2.2 | Captions (Prerecorded) | ○Not Evaluated | As 1.2.1. No video is required to use the product; the tutorials are supplementary. |
| 1.2.3 | Audio Description or Media Alternative (Prerecorded) | ○Not Evaluated | As 1.2.1. |
| 1.3.1 | Info and Relationships | ✕Does Not Support | No landmark regions on any screen (F3). Heading outline disordered or absent on most screens (F10). Four form fields without a programmatic label (F4). Pet Squad exposes no structure at all (F15). Data tables in reports were not checked for header association. |
| 1.3.2 | Meaningful Sequence | ○Not Evaluated | DOM order followed visual order in the keyboard walk of the dashboard. Reading-order verification with a screen reader is part of the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027. |
| 1.3.3 | Sensory Characteristics | ✓Supports | No instruction on the evaluated surfaces relies on shape, position, size or sound alone. Game problems are plain text ("8 + 1"); lobby and results screens use text labels. |
| 1.4.1 | Use of Color | ~Partially Supports | Correct-answer feedback in the Live Game shows an icon and a score change; the class progress quadrant chart carries text labels ("Fast but inaccurate") in each region; the host accuracy bar shows a percentage. A wrong answer is signalled only by the score not increasing, which is weak but not colour-based. The star-rating accuracy icons on the dashboard use colour fill without a text equivalent. |
| 1.4.2 | Audio Control | ✓Supports | No audio element autoplays on the evaluated surfaces. The host screen provides a sound toggle and volume slider (the toggle needs a name, F5). |
| 2.1.1 | Keyboard | ✕Does Not Support | The Live Game is fully playable from the keyboard: number keys enter the answer, Enter submits, and a round was completed without a pointer. The Teacher App's main navigation is unreachable by Tab (F1). Pet Squad cannot be operated from the keyboard at all (F15). |
| 2.1.2 | No Keyboard Trap | ~Partially Supports | No trap in the dashboard walk or the Live Game. In Pet Squad, once Tab moves focus into the iframe, repeated Tabs do not move it back out, and no visible indicator shows where focus is (F15). |
| 2.1.4 | Character Key Shortcuts | ✓Supports | Number keys act only while the answer field has focus, which is the permitted "active only on focus" case. No page-level single-character shortcuts were found. |
| 2.2.1 | Timing Adjustable | ~Partially Supports | Live game rounds are timed (default 3 × 1.5 minutes). The teacher sets the game duration before starting, and the round timer is shown only on the teacher's projected screen; the student cannot extend or turn off the limit. 99math relies on the essential exception for the timed fluency activity, with the teacher-set duration as the adjustment mechanism. Individual practice assignments are untimed. |
| 2.2.2 | Pause, Stop, Hide | ~Partially Supports | The dashboard carousel auto-advances and has an on-screen "Auto-play: on/off" control. Confetti and star animations on results screens last under five seconds. The animated pet on the dashboard loops without a pause control; it is decorative and stops under prefers-reduced-motion. |
| 2.3.1 | Three Flashes or Below Threshold | ✓Supports | No flashing content observed on the evaluated surfaces, including the correct-answer burst and round-end celebration. |
| 2.4.1 | Bypass Blocks | ✕Does Not Support | No skip link and no landmarks on any screen (F3). |
| 2.4.2 | Page Titled | ~Partially Supports | Every screen has a title, but it is the same generic title on all 16 (F11). |
| 2.4.3 | Focus Order | ~Partially Supports | No positive tabindex on the DOM screens; focus moved in visual order in the dashboard walk and the Live Game. Pet Squad has no focus order because nothing in it takes focus (F15). |
| 2.4.4 | Link Purpose (In Context) | ✓Supports | The few links present ("View full report", "Edit topics", "Home") are descriptive. Most navigation is built from buttons, covered under 4.1.2. |
| 2.5.1 | Pointer Gestures | ✓Supports | No multipoint or path-based gestures on the evaluated surfaces; avatar customisation is click-based. |
| 2.5.2 | Pointer Cancellation | ✓Supports | Controls are native or ARIA buttons activated on click (up-event). No down-event activation was found in the code paths exercised. |
| 2.5.3 | Label in Name | ~Partially Supports | Text buttons expose their visible text as the accessible name. Icon-only buttons have no name at all (F5), so voice-control users cannot target them. |
| 2.5.4 | Motion Actuation | ·Not Applicable | No device-motion input is used. |
| 3.1.1 | Language of Page | ✓Supports | All 16 screens declare lang="en" on the root element. |
| 3.2.1 | On Focus | ✓Supports | No change of context on focus in the twelve-step dashboard walk or in the Live Game. |
| 3.2.2 | On Input | ✓Supports | The game-code field and the answer field both require an explicit Enter or button press; nothing submits on input alone. |
| 3.3.1 | Error Identification | ✕Does Not Support | An invalid game code produced no programmatic error: no text in the live region, no aria-invalid, no description on the field (F6). A wrong answer in the Live Game is likewise not identified in text. |
| 3.3.2 | Labels or Instructions | ✕Does Not Support | The game-code field relies on a placeholder alone; the Live Game answer field has neither label nor placeholder (F4). |
| 3.3.7 | Redundant Entry | ✓Supports | Once a student has joined, name and avatar carry through lobby and play; nothing entered earlier is asked for again. |
| 4.1.1 | Parsing | ·Not Applicable | Removed from WCAG 2.2 and always satisfied. Retained for alignment with reports issued against WCAG 2.0 and 2.1. |
| 4.1.2 | Name, Role, Value | ✕Does Not Support | Unnamed icon buttons on 8 of 16 DOM screens (F5), unlabelled fields (F4), unreachable tree navigation (F1), unnamed progress bars and toggles (F12). No control in Pet Squad has a name, role or value (F15). Text buttons, links and PrimeVue selects otherwise expose correct roles. |
Table 2: Success Criteria, Level AA
This is the table that determines whether a district can approve 99math under ADA Title II. Level AA is the operative bar; Level A alone is not sufficient.
| Criterion | Name | Conformance level | Remarks and explanations |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.2.4 | Captions (Live) | ·Not Applicable | No live audio or video is delivered. |
| 1.2.5 | Audio Description (Prerecorded) | ○Not Evaluated | Applies to the teacher tutorial videos; confirmed in the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027. |
| 1.3.4 | Orientation | ○Not Evaluated | Tablet testing is part of the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027. No orientation lock was found in the DOM screens' CSS. |
| 1.3.5 | Identify Input Purpose | ○Not Evaluated | The game-code field correctly sets autocomplete="off" (it collects no personal data). Sign-in and account fields, where this criterion applies, were not inspected; covered in the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027. |
| 1.4.3 | Contrast (Minimum) | ~Partially Supports | Body text and student-facing text pass. Eight brand colour pairings used on action buttons, badges and status labels in the Teacher App fall between 2.14:1 and 4.45:1 (F7). The Live Game keypad and problem text pass. Text inside the Pet Squad canvas cannot be measured programmatically and was not measured. |
| 1.4.4 | Resize Text | ✕Does Not Support | Pinch-zoom is disabled on every DOM screen (F2). Desktop browser zoom is not blocked. Pet Squad scales as a bitmap and its text does not reflow. |
| 1.4.5 | Images of Text | ~Partially Supports | The student shell's top navigation ("Game", "My avatar", "Rewards", "Game code") is rendered as image lettering with alternative text. The Teacher App uses real text throughout. All text in Pet Squad is rendered to canvas, with no text alternative (F15). |
| 1.4.10 | Reflow | ○Not Evaluated | The 320 px reflow test is part of the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027. The disabled pinch-zoom (F2) compounds the risk on small screens. |
| 1.4.11 | Non-text Contrast | ~Partially Supports | Button and link focus indicators are visible. Text inputs have no focus indicator at all (F9). The disabled ENTER control measures 2.55:1, which is exempt while disabled. |
| 1.4.12 | Text Spacing | ○Not Evaluated | Part of the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027. |
| 1.4.13 | Content on Hover or Focus | ○Not Evaluated | Class progress chart tooltips are checked for dismissibility and persistence in the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027. |
| 2.4.5 | Multiple Ways | ✓Supports | Teacher screens are reachable from the persistent sidebar and from dashboard shortcuts; skills can be found by list or by the search field. The game flow is a process and is exempt. |
| 2.4.6 | Headings and Labels | ~Partially Supports | Where headings exist they describe their sections. Several screens have no headings, and labels are absent on four fields (F4, F10). |
| 2.4.7 | Focus Visible | ~Partially Supports | Buttons and links show a solid outline when focused. Text inputs, the class selector and the navigation group labels show nothing (F1, F9). Pet Squad shows no focus indicator at all (F15). |
| 2.4.11 | Focus Not Obscured (Minimum) | ✓Supports | The sticky sidebar and header do not overlap content; no focused element was hidden during the dashboard walk. |
| 2.5.7 | Dragging Movements | ✓Supports | No drag-only interaction on the evaluated surfaces. The host volume slider is a native range input. |
| 2.5.8 | Target Size (Minimum) | ~Partially Supports | Two carousel dot buttons on the dashboard are below 24×24 px (F13). Keypad keys in the Live Game are large. No other failures. |
| 3.1.2 | Language of Parts | ·Not Applicable | The evaluated surfaces are single-language English. |
| 3.2.3 | Consistent Navigation | ✓Supports | The sidebar is identical in content and order on all eight Teacher App screens. |
| 3.2.4 | Consistent Identification | ✓Supports | Repeated controls (class selector, replay, choose topic, sound toggle) are presented consistently across screens. |

Table 3: Success Criteria, Level AAA
Level AAA is neither required by ADA Title II nor by Revised Section 508, and no product is expected to satisfy it in full. It is included because the International Edition provides for it. Rows are answered only where the evaluation produced an answer incidentally.

08Revised Section 508 report
Chapters 3 through 6 of the Revised 508 Standards. Where a provision incorporates WCAG by reference, the answer is the WCAG table above; those rows point back rather than restating.
Chapter 3: Functional Performance Criteria (302)
These are outcome-based: can a person with this characteristic actually use the product. They are answered from the findings above; the without-vision row waits for the scheduled screen-reader pass.
| Criterion | Name | Conformance level | Remarks and explanations |
|---|---|---|---|
| 302.1 | Without Vision | ○Not Evaluated | Screen-reader pass is part of the version 1.1 reissue on 31 August 2027. Structural findings (F1, F3, F4, F5, F6) indicate the Teacher App is not usable without vision today; the Live Game's answer field and feedback are unnamed and unannounced; Pet Squad exposes nothing to a screen reader (F15). |
| 302.2 | With Limited Vision | ~Partially Supports | Desktop browser zoom works; pinch-zoom on touch devices is blocked (F2); several controls fall below minimum contrast (F7). |
| 302.3 | Without Perception of Color | ✓Supports | Game feedback, chart regions and accuracy bars carry text or icon cues in addition to colour (see 1.4.1). |
| 302.4 | Without Hearing | ✓Supports | No information on the evaluated surfaces is conveyed by sound alone; sound is optional and can be muted. |
| 302.5 | With Limited Hearing | ✓Supports | As 302.4. |
| 302.6 | Without Speech | ·Not Applicable | No speech input is required or offered. |
| 302.7 | With Limited Manipulation | ~Partially Supports | The Live Game is fully keyboard-operable; the Teacher App's navigation is not (F1) and Pet Squad is pointer-only (F15). Round timing places speed demands on the student that the teacher, not the student, controls. |
| 302.8 | With Limited Reach and Strength | ✓Supports | No physical reach or strength demand beyond a standard keyboard or pointer. |
| 302.9 | With Limited Language, Cognitive, and Learning Abilities | ~Partially Supports | Problems are presented one at a time in large plain text with a simple keypad; teachers can set difficulty, duration and untimed individual assignments. Errors are not explained in text (F6), and screens are inconsistent in headings. |

Chapter 6: Support Documentation and Services (601–603)
| Criterion | Name | Conformance level | Remarks and explanations |
|---|---|---|---|
